Really cool cafe with a great selection of food and great coffee.
My only complaint on the day I went was that the staff were a bit impersonal and grumpy. Possibly just a bad day though. Would definitely go again!

Service, service, service. On the face of it Boyden's has a great product. Nice establishment, great menu (breakfast burrito anyone?) but on each occasion I've been, service has let the whole thing down. Waiting 45 minutes for food with two young children is not a pleasant experience. Even popping in for a takeaway cappuccino took 5 minutes with only one person in front of me. Great if you have the time to kill but not if you have somewhere to be.

I've been driving past Boydens for quite a while and thinking I'd like to try this place. It's in a bit of an obscure position but when ever I've driven past it seemed to be busy so I thought to myself "this place must be good!"
My garage is round the corner and the car required an MOT so today was a prime opportunity to sample.
I loved the simple ambience, the display of fresh pastries and bread. I also like the fact there is a very simple menu.
I asked if they had soya milk before I pulled up a seat and this was the first good sign, ordered myself scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon on brown bread and a soya latte. The breakfast was superb and the coffee was good (only critic too much froth on coffee).
Overall my experience was very enjoyable the only thing was I waited a little too long for my food, but when I got it, it was worth waiting for.

Lovely quaint cafe serving decent quality breakfast food; except the prices are extortionate and I've heard far too many stomach complaints from friends after eating there.
